Description
Long-Lasting Durability
EZARC step drill bit is made from heat-treated M35 cobalt high speed steel for superior strength and toughness over standard HSS, making it ideal for cutting stainless steel and other hard metals. The 89HRC AlTiN coating provides excellent heat, wear, and corrosion resistance for extended tool life.
Triple-Flute C-Profile Design
Triple-flute structure improves drilling stability and reduces walking. The C-profile cutting edge enables faster, smoother cutting and cleaner holes in metal, stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic.
19-Step Sizes
Spiral flute design enables smooth, efficient drilling across multiple material thicknesses, eliminating the need to change bits. Size range: 1/4" to 1-3/8" (19 steps total).
12-Step Sizes
Spiral flute design enables smooth, efficient drilling across multiple material thicknesses, eliminating the need to change bits. Includes 12 sizes: 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 11/16", 3/4", 13/16", 7/8".
Reinforced Shank
The 5/16'' thickened shank increases strength, fits perfectly into 1/4" quick-change chucks, is designed for quick-change drills and impact drivers, and can extend drilling depth to meet deep-hole requirements.
Important Notes
Suitable for metal sheets up to 1/8" (3mm) thick and stainless steel up to 1mm. For better performance and longer tool life, use cutting oil or coolant during continuous drilling. Due to the larger cutting angles, initial drilling speed may be slower, which is normal.
