I used the set for 1/2” holes in 3/16 thick steel rolled hollow section and they cut like butter but didn’t get video. I’ll add some photos of that install. The video is me finishing the battery box cable glands. These cutters are so much better than anything I’ve used before and definitely 5 star items. They made the job so much easier.

I was shocked when they arrived. I was not expecting such a high end tool. First, they are housed in a strong storage case that lets you see the one you need to use and is easy to remove for use. When not in use the step bits are snugly held and the lid securely closed. Second, the tools them self. Wow, they cut like butter and seem seem to keep an edge. Although I have only used them a few time they have stayed sharp. They even have a little manual included that fits into the box on how to use them. These are high quality and I highly recommend that you add them to your tool arcenal.

I'm a retired electronics technician. Over the past 40 years, I have built a combination woodshop/ machine shop in the basement. I'm constantly designing and building things, either for myself or friends and family. These step drills are great for SOME kinds of jobs. Especially for quick and dirty work, these kinds of drills safe time by not having to switch out different sizes. If you're drilling a half inch hole through a couple of 2x4's however, these of course won't do. They performed well on wood, plastic and aluminum that I've tried them so far. I'm giving these five stars since they appear to wear well and are VERY economical.

These EZARC M35 Cobalt Step Drill Bits are made very well. They are clearly marked with the size and comes in a nice hard case. They come in a nice plastic case and the spiral design cuts through material better than standard step bits. Everything you need to get the right size drill hole without having to use multiple drill bits. I recommend these!

This the first set of step drill bits that ive used. So far ive used them on aluminum and steel and the performed better than i could have hoped. I drilled approximately 50 holes in 14 gauge steel and a dozen holes in quarter inch aluminum. Cut well the entire time.
