This set of carbide tipped holes cutters is great. It's low cost, but good quality. The teeth are all sharp, they are welded on correctly to the ring, and the quick swap feature works as well. Just don't reverse the drill because it will likely disengage the cutter from the shaft. These are sturdy, well made cutters. My only minor gripe is that because of the quick change feature they have some wobble/play. So they aren't going to be precision holes but are close enough for most work. And the case has real hinges and will last a good while.
I am a new construction plumber and this kit comes in handy! Making holes for faucets, water lines, pipes, tubing, soap dispensers, etc. and these make cutting into stainless steel like nothing . Very sharp teeth that make a nice cut. The spring on the center makes it easier to wkiect the core part. No more prying out the left over metal disks from the hole saws any more. Having all the sizes in one kit is so convenient, plus the case is heavy duty. So perfect for the tool box. It's a space saver because it all breaks down into smaller parts so it can all be stored in a very small case. No more digging around in the tool box for the certain size you need either. The arbor is also heavy duty. It's all made to last. It's all heavy duty really. Made for the job site. Ready for hard use. It can take it
Overall good quality. It's a just a little brittle and some teeth have already chipped, but no big breaks and this is typical of carbide. The teeth are really sharp and cut through mild and stainless steel easily. Holes are burr-free. Definitely need to use cutting oil. I got this set for home use but very similar to my employer-supplied set that comes in the well-known green box—for electrician work. The quick change arbor can be used with all included cutter sizes and lets you easily change cutter heads with a push and turn. There's a flange stop to prevent over-drilling. Kit includes a quick change auger, hex key, and five cutter head sizes - 7/8-inch, 1-1/8-inch, 1-3/8-inch, 1-3/4-inch, and 2-inch. And the case is rugged.
I needed to do some circular cut outs in a sheet of stainless steel and this kit functioned beautifully. The carbide teeth center easily and cut through metal like butter. The quick change feature is very cool. To install and remove a new cutter is just a simple twist. The cutters come in a nice case, and the laser engraved sizes make it very easy to see the sizes. These are very well-made and high quality tools. These are a very goo value for the price.
Been using this set for a few months now. Comparable to Greenlee, Lenox, or Klein. Cuts super clean holes. Pilot bits get dull pretty fast but I started drilling my own pilot holes.
I've wanted a kit like this for a while and this fit the bill! Between the variety of sizes of the hole saws and the different size mandrels, this kit has just about every single thing I'd need going forward. Nice little compact case to keep it all tidy. So far, I've had nothing but success using their (EZARC's) hole saws & carbide Sawzall blades. Would recommend!
I don't use hole saws often, but sometimes there's no better bit for the job. Nice to have a set of different-size hole saw bits on hand. These are sharp and come neatly arranged in a nice plastic case.
I just received this hole saw set so I can't comment on its longevity, but I can say that it comes beautifully packaged in a well organized plastic case with a place for everything and a nice latch. These saws are much deeper than my previous set which often required removing the saw multiple times to break out the plug to gain depth. This burned up time, left a poor cut and was a headache. The arbors are nicely machined, knurled and finished with a substantial set screw to hold the drill bit and allow for replacement if needed. These also have a cleanout slot on each saw that my last set didn't have.
This set is marketed as a plumber and electrician set, but I would call it a great all around set that will be able to tackle most jobs. As mentioned, I haven't had it long term yet, but I fully expect these saws to perform well for a long time.
The bit is accurate, cuts well and performs better than most bits at twice the price. I've used BOSCH, DEWALT, KLEIN among others and I've gotten better results in a shorter period of time.
Got this to drill a couple holes in a sink I was gifted. I've never touched a drill before, or replaced a sink, so I was worried I'd break this. However, It did superb! Just go slow and steady; keep it oiled up and it should do fine.
I drilled two holes in about 60 seconds. I bet I could get several more uses out of it before it got dull. Definitely going in my tools for future use! Loved it, and will purchase again if needed.
I love these. I have tried most of the major brands and these have beaten the pants off of all of them. Milwaukee blades have worn away so quickly and I was wondering if there were any brands that didn't wear down after 1 or 2 uses. These have been amazing for their longevity and durability. Metal that would eat the teeth off of even the metal cutting Milwaukee's, these just go right through and keep going. I'll admit I was skeptical at first and didn't have high hopes when I bought the first ones. I have bought quite a few sets since I use them a lot. Good tool, good value, highly recommended
Just as good as the name brand like ideal. I am electrician an i am drilling holes in panel cans constantly. These work great an the case is great everyone i work with is ordering a set after using mine. Great product
I use my multi tool almost everyday and the blades hold up very well. They last longer than Diablo and Milwaukee, which saves me money and carbide blades are expensive.
I bought these based on reviews on Amazon. I typically buy higher priced Diablo or Milwaukee blades, but wanted to give these a try. One blade cut through nails & concrete screws easily using a 12V Fuel Milwaukee Multi Tool. Best performance hands down over the more expensive blades. Definitely sold!!!
I own a greenlee 660 set, with the interchangeable cups, it lasted me 2 years using it by myself, I loaned it to an apprentice for an hour, and he burned it up. The interchangeable cups are an empty promise, almost 50 percent the price of the whole set, just for the one inch. These are super sharp, fast cut.
Used this kit on a remodel job cutting holes in sheet metal and hardwood. The saws stayed sharp, and the bi-metal construction definitely held up better than my last set. The included accessories and case make it convenient to bring on-site.
