As an electrician we are often cutting into plaster over wall board or lathe. It flattens out other blades quickly, but this saves us money because we can cut many holes with this blade. I’m up to ten I think with the first blade from our first purchase.

Removed grout great

I was a first time tile installer in my own bathroom. I made a few mistakes not clearing thineset/grout. These little blades on my saw made it very easy to grind it out and make corrections. I even made a cut for the tile around the toilet. Totally worth every penny I spent on them. EZARC products are great so far. Bought a few more in different styles but same brand.

Did the job that I needed it to, wore down quicker than I expected. But got the job done

Pack of 3, I only needed one for the grout removal. Worked fine and cost 1/3 of the price at the big box store.
Dave
Works well, last quite a bit longer than carbide.

Used to de-grout the tile. Worked well bit it took 2 of them to get through the job.

Cuts better than regular blades. Used to finish tiling. Cut through hard mortar and clumps and cut out over filled mortar in grout lines easily.

I used these blades for grout removal as advertised. Am happy to report success with these blades. Fairly durable considering the task. Really only needed 1 blade but good to have the others in for future work. Worked perfect for my 1/16 grout joints. If you have wider grout joints it will be a little more difficult to get it all out properly for the re-grout

Works well. Last for a while

Perform as expected and advertised. If used properly will last a good while and remove lots of grout

In all fairness to the product, I used the blades for cutting a much harder material then they were designed for. They cut right into the brick at a quick rate, but got dull pretty quickly. I bet they would do well cutting grout for which they were designed.

I am replacing broken 12 by 12 floor tile. I can do about six to ten feet of grout and I need to change blades. I find it is best to NOT use much pressure and allow the oscillating saw to just drift along while rocking the blade up to use the entire edge. I have the blade in the saw at least a forty-five-degree angle, which makes rocking the blade easy. In many cases, I only need to score the grout, to allow the tile to release using a long flat pry tool under the tile. One of the home, box stores sells what looks like this same blade with a known brand name, for almost the cost of six of these blades. I can't imagine that those last enough longer to make them better. However, I have not compared. Six of these is going to be more than I need.

Well they look the part - can't rate the durability or longevity - sometimes a matter of how the operator utilizes the item... Steady or brute force.

I recommend using tools like an rotary hammer to drill holes in the corners and an angle grinder with a diamond blade for the sides and top for making square openings in concrete block and using these blades to finish off the cut cleanly. Does require some patience but gets the job done if you want clean edges.

Fit the tool and works great so far.

Have only used one of these one time to cut out Durarock around a toilet flange, & it did well.

I had to remove about 16 feet of grout where my shower floor meets the wall. I wore out 1 blade but the 2nd blade still has some remaining life. It didn't go through the grout like a hot knife through butter but it wasn't bad. It does create a huge amount of dust. The dust was predictable and isn't the fault of the blade. I was pleased with the purchase and value. The manual grout cutter might work for a single (or a few) tiles but it would be way too much work for many feet of grout. There's a bit of a learning curve to not cut too deep or scratch the tiles but you pick it up pretty quick.

tool worked as advertised, very pleased

I have a curved sitting wall built with 8"x12" concrete landscape blocks. A small space between the center two blocks on the bottom row was left to drain rain water from the patio to the outside of the sitting wall. The opening was not large enough to effectively drain water from the patio. I used these diamond grit blades on my multitool to saw through (to max blade depth) a portion of concrete block on one side of the drain opening and then chip out the sawed portion of block with a hammer and chisel. I repeated this this few times until the entire 8" block was cut through. I was able to triple the size of the drain opening. I could not have done this job without these blades. I used two blades to make all the cuts and cooled them with water while cutting. It was slow going but it worked.

Surprisingly great value. Only been using a week but it seems to be holding up well

I was surprised to read on the site I should not use these at top speed of my Oscillating Multi Tool I got these as the ones I had wore out quickly, too quickly IMO. but reading the description on this site from the seller they suggested to slow down the speed. And that indeed worked! I wish more sellers were so helpful.

Being a consumable, it's a good value.

Worked perfectly with my Makita multitool. Cut through brick and cement. Cannot say yet how long it will last. For this price, I can recommend.

As long as the canvas will be exposure time, on the Bosch restorer sit well. But the diamond coating, if, of course, it is, is not applied evenly, there are thickening on the edges.

Was amazed at how well blade lasted while cutting through and removing a great deal of grout. A single blade outlasted two of a major brand more expensive blades and still has plenty of life remaining. The grout grooves were filled with a great deal of thinset which had to be removed with the grout. The blade did well.As with many cutting tools you have to experiment a little with the speed at which you are feeding the tool into the material and the pressure you are applying. Once I found the correct combo which was not difficult, the removal operation speeded up nicely. The single blade removed in excess of 200 ft of 1/4 inch grout 3/8 deep with about 50% of it being very hard thinset/ grout mixture.Really pleased with the product and price. I still have 2 new unused blades remaining.

Worked well to remove thin-line grout around cracked tile to enanable removal.

These are great and work with my Ridgid oscillating tool just fine. Lasting really long time.

First, I have to give massive props to the company's customer service. I was working on trimming some tile in an awkward spot, and I ended up burning through a pack of these pretty quickly, which was disappointing but I figured I'd order one more to finish up. Within an hour of placing the second order, the company reached out spontaneously to ask if I got the first order and if there were any problems. I told them everything was fine, I was just trimming tile and needed more blades, and they followed up with helpful tips. Amazing support! It turns out the secret is to turn your oscillating tool down to 1 or 2. Running it at full blast just destroys the blades. It's gonna take a whiiiiiiile but it will work. Don't forget your PPE! Also check your tool's manual, mine had warnings about running it at low speeds for extended periods so I gave it lots of breaks and ran it at full blast without load periodically.

Didn't think it would work or last that long. Especially since such a great price. Work and last awesome. Thanks

Great Quality - Great Fit - Great Price!!I have an off brand oscillating tool and I was concerned that it might not fit because the brand is not often listed in product compatibility. However, this blade fits perfect without the need for the included adapter. The diamond grit is extremely durable and very well adhered to the blade. This is intended for grout removal but can also be used for a variety of purposes only limited by your imagination and confidence level. This is the perfect addition to your tool bag if you work with tile often.

It fit my off brand tool

These are easy to control when removing grout, The grit is fine which makes handling the tool much easier. It doesn't cut that fast but you gain control so you don't damage the tile. Seems to last as I am still on my first blade so this would be a good buy since you get 3 in the set.
Kart Dad
they worked better than expected

These cut like butter and leave such a clean precise edge. Had a few areas where had chipping grout in my bathroom and started to use hand tool to remove the remaining grout, but switched to this blade and what would have been a 7 day project was done in less than 1. The blade was pretty worn after doing a while bathroom, but now I have 2 more for when I get around to fixing up my kids bathroom...

Did some tile work on my bathroom wall to fix some broken tiles. Made very clean and precise cuts to remove broken pieces!
Erin
Very good! Used it to clean and clear tiles for grouting

While I didn't have a pending appropriate project, when these came up for review I ordered them since I have never used such a blade. They did put a nice smooth bevel on the edge of a hardwood block, and easily ground the manufacturing numbers off of a wine bottle. While I can't speak to longevity, I couldn't really see the difference between the used blade and the new ones. They fit my TackLife oscillating tool as they should. Interesting in that they appear to be chromed rather than the usual flat black. I expect these will perform commensurate with their price and intended usage scenario.

Cut through grout like it was jello. Great value and great product

Good, but not recommended for removing a lot of grout. Maybe corners here and there.

I needed to regrout one of our bath/showers. The grout was heavily stained. These two blades were the perfect solution to remove the grout from the open areas and the tighter corner areas where it needed to be removed. I only used one of each and they have some good life in them still for the next project.
funbear
Diamonds are the ultimate cutting edge...they will outlast anything, even hitting tile constantlythese last longer than I thought... cleared out some old tile that needed replacing.... did a great job between the tiles, then switched blades to clean up the flat surfaces...recommended!

Works like a champ! Great value for cutting tile backer board and cement board projects. They’ve been useful for grinding ridges off tile too. So far, the edge is holding up and the grit is not wearing off like other blades that I’ve used.
