I got a great deal on a 3/8in impact wrench for a project, but of course, the impact wrench doesn't do me much good unless I have a socket set to go with it. Thanks to this collection, I'm covered! I'm looking forward to really putting it through its paces later this year, but for now, all of the sockets I've tried out have fit perfectly on my socket wrench and are a high enough quality that they have stood up to repeated use without any signs of premature wear.
Having the deep and shallow sockets, along with the extenders and the spark plug sockets, all included in this set means I'm covered for anything I can imagine needing to do with my impact wrench in the near future, which really helps me maximize its functionality and get the most value for my money. Overall, I'm happy with this product.

I’ve been working with this all?in?one socket set for a while now and, honestly, it checks almost every box I was hoping for.
I love how everything you’d likely need is packed in one case. SAE and metric sockets (both deep and shallow), spark plug sockets, plenty of screwdriver bits, extension bars, plus the ratchet, universal joint, and a bit adapter. Having all that in one place is so much easier than having to dig in the toolbox to find the wobble or the extensions that came with a different set.
The tools themselves feel solid. The sockets have a satisfying weight and a nicely etched marking that stays visible even after using grease and getting grime on them. The print is nice and large too, which is so helpful as my eyes are not as sharp as they once were. The screwdriver bits feel equally tough; they’ve handled different fasteners without deforming or slipping.
The one thing I’d point out is the ratchet’s direction?switch lever. It’s a little fiddly. It doesn't snap into place but it does stay in place. So, if you don't move it far enough it doesn't lock like it should. Not a huge deal, but compared to other ratchets I have, it is noteworthy. After that’s set though, the ratchet clicks firmly and operates smoothly under load without any hint of skipping.
Bottom line: This kit works, stays organized (bits don't fall out when closing the lid), and it looks and feels like it's built for the long haul. This kit is a great all?rounder that I expect will last me a long time. Highly recommended.
This 3/8" impact socket set is very complete for both metric and SAE sizes that are provided in a robust and solid plastic case. Each socket, adapter, drive has its own spot holding them in place as well as clearly etched and highlighted as to size. The length/depth of the sockets is suitable for most home repair and workshop use. The overall thickness of the sockets is very heavy duty as you can tell by picking up the plastic storage case which weighs over 10#. I used the sockets and a few of the bits on a yard tractor repair and each change of socket was easy (no jamming)s. There is a bit holder along with a selection of bits provided to allow attachment to an impact wrench/gun. Clearly the functionality provided by a well made socketset is present in this set. While containing an extensive size rangein the set creates the high value for the money paid.
This socket set just screams high quality through the entire product. It is extremely heavy duty in build quality and weight. I have even been using some of my bigger impacts with it and it held up perfectly! The case is a very durable blow molded form with double hinged latches made of metal. The spacing in the case is really good for everything to be properly displayed and easy to grab. It all fits in its spot so well it almost snaps into place. All the sockets have been perfect fitting with almost no slop. The ratchet feels really good in the hand and the functionality is amazing. It feels very good in the hand and it has a roughened textured feeling so it doesn't slip out of your hand. This is the perfect size for keeping in the car as a mobile kit or home automotive repair. I can't believe this is less than $70 being an extreme value for the money. I never knew about this brand but I'll buying from them now. I can't recommend this enough!
I have abused some of my cheap sockets with impact drivers and have had them either come apart or strip the head of the fastener. I am looking forward to having a set of impact-rated tools.
Sometimes you pick up tools and something about them just says quality. Given that these impact-rated sockets and bits are in a blow-molded case, they still come across as heavy when I picked them up. Then I noticed the case. While it is blow-molded plastic, the latches and hinge pins are metal. The manufacturer expects that you are going to have the tools for a long time and the case should last along with them.
The set covers most sizes and bit types I would use with an impact driver. The smallest sockets are 7mm and 5/16". Anything smaller and I am unlikely to want to use an impact wrench on them. On the big end, 19mm and 3/4" plus 5/8" and 13/16" dedicated spark plug sockets. I have a few things that need bigger sockets but this will cover more than 95% of my needs and I can get the others as one offs.
The sockets are all six-point and are much less likely to strip a bolt head than a twelve-point one. The latter were popular when there was a good chance of running into both square and hex fasteners. I haven't seen a square-head bolt in a good long time.
There is an excellent selection of 1/4" hex bits that include the basics like slotted, Philips, and hex but also include Posi and Torx bits in a wide range of sizes with duplicates of common ones.
The ratchet has a fine detent action so you can swing it in tight spaces where you may only have just a few degrees of movement. The extensions, universal joint adapter, and hex bit adapter round out the set.
This is not the first tool I have had from Libration and I have been repeatedly impressed with the quality and functionality. This set is an excellent value for the cost.
This is a well made socket set that covers 90% of the jobs you would do around the the house or as a DIY mechanic. The molded case is sturdy with metal latches instead of the plastic clips. The pieces all stay gripped in the case as you open it. I particularly like the markings on the sockets that are large, etched into the sockets, and then painted/powder coated to provide fast identification. The tools have a light oil coating to prevent rust. This is a great kit to keep in the house or carry in a vehicle for emergencies. I will be carrying it in the RV for emergencies. Highly recommended!
This is a very nice tool set. Very good quality and easy to take out of the tool case, and easy to place back in the tool case. Each piece goes back in the case without a lot of effort, and each piece is firmly in the case; they don't just fall out if the case is dropped.

I purchased these impact sockets to use with an air ratchet.Since I had been looking for an extra socket set for a while I figured why not just go with impact sockets. I looked at many other sets but since I have purchased Libraton T handle allen and Torx wrenches already I went with this set. I have many 1/2 inch impact sockets but decided to get some 3/8 for air tools and 3/8 cordless impact driver. I feel very satisfied about this purchase. The drive ratchet is actually fairly stout and has smooth feeling gears. The case is good and holds everything in place. I’m not planning to push these sockets to the limit so they should be just fine for my use. For now I would definitely buy these again.

I've mentioned before how sometimes a reviewer will come across not just a good/excellent product, when it dawns on you that a LOT of these High Quality offerings are coming from the same Company, then you really start paying attention. Well such has been my experience with this LIBRATON brand of all sorts of products, and each of them turning out to be surprisingly good &, this set of Impact sockets/drivers etc. is no exception. From the moment I picked up, and felt the 'Gravitas of the package, I just *knew* this item was going to be SPECIAL, when I opened the outer box and the name of the kit appeared ..well, I simply smiled knowing that yep, LIBRATON had done it again:)

What a nice surprise--a big impact wrench socket set that doesn't scream "Harbor Freight". They clearly made an effort to stand out--from a nice box, rugged aesthetically pleasing case and color, and metal latch buckles. No cheap plastic "tabs" that will break off!
This set includes a pretty comprehensive range of sizes, both SAE and Metric that'll suit me fine for 99% of my typical use. The coating seems good quality, not easily to scratch and peel. The sockets I've tried all fit tight with no loose play or difficulty inserting or removing them from the wrench.
The set does include a lot of bits to pad the 90-piece count, but I didn't mind it, given what the set does include. It's a great value, and I intend to get rid of all the other sockets I have.
You know for the price I think I paid $60 for this set. It is really really outstanding. I’m very happy with it and comes in a case. Everything stays in place I bought their nut driver sets quarter inch impacts. These are some really good tools.
