I'm a contractor and I have tried about every blade out there and these seem to be top shelf. Im not gonna say they are the best but i will definitely be purchasing more.

Oh, let me tell you about the incredible Diamond Cutting Wheel! This tool defies all expectations and cuts through metal like a hot knife through butter, that’s simply out of this world!

I like that the drill bits are straight, not tapered. The tip does not burn like other tapered drill bits I have tried. I like that there are extra drill bits included. I like that the counter sink is sharp and is in contact with the drill bit no matter what you adjust the depth at. The other tapered drill bits have more cutting edges for the countersink part, but when you adjust for a shallow hole, the countersink surface does not make contact with the drill bit, causing a bunch up of wood chips. I highly recommend these drill bits and they are reasonably priced too.
Good countersink set with a variety of sizes and drill bits. Will be used with our upcoming deck build.
The magnetic bit holder isn't very strong but should work.
Depth of the drill bits can be adjusted with the Allen wrench tool as well.
While priced on the high end for five countersinks, this set includes a magnetic bit holder, an Allen wrench, and replacement bits. When the product arrived, I thought there was an additional set screw, but it was not set in the #10 countersink as seen in the photo.
I work with hardwoods and softwood, and the twist drill bits with this set worked great in soft and hard species such as pine, oak, and poplar. The countersink produced no tearout on the surface and was clean on softwoods but a bit rougher on some hardwoods, such as oak.
I like that you can replace the drill bits (5/64", 3/32", 7/64", 1/8", 9/64") because (1) drill bits get dull or break, or (2), I like using Brad Point Drill bits with countersinks when working with hardwoods to prevent the bit from wandering when starting a hole. The bits fit tightly in the countersink, so I am uncertain if a metric equivalent would fit (rounding up) or be off-centred to produce a wobble (rounded down).
This countersink has a short counterbore to attach drill stop bit collars. Collars ensure consistent depth using a hand drill instead of a drill press. Over the years, I have accumulated different types of depth collars, and only my shallow depth collars with set screws work due to the shallow shoulder of the counterbore.
These Countersink Drill Bits from EZARC are the best countersink drills I have personally used. They cut very cleanly, even in soft wood like pine and fir, but work equally well in harder woods like oak and maple. The difference that I see with these drills is, they are a double-flute design that cuts more evenly than the single-flute drills.
I appreciate that there are extra pilot drills for all countersinks included in the kit in case you break one or it gets dull. Also included is a hex wrench for adjusting the drill depth and a magnetic bit holder to allow for quick changes if you are working on a project with different size flat-head screws. The plastic reusable case is sturdy and has a good latch that actually works well. If you are looking for a set of good performing countersink drill bits, this set is definitely worth considering.
Great addition to my tool kit. I tested these on Pine and Oak. All four counter sink holes were smooth. See photo. It's also nice not having to pre-drill. These bits take care of that as well. It's a small thing but cleanup is easier. Wood residue drops off the bit with minimal cleaning effort.
One note of caution, keep your drill torque near two or three with softer woods like pin. This gives you higher torque at a lower speed (it's an inverse relationship with torque and speed on drills) I set my Milwaukee drill at 5 to start and had to roll that back to three because at 5 the bits were mowing through the Pine. Oak was better around 5.
If you've used countersink bits frequently you know they break, especially smaller sizes. This kit anticipates that and provides replacements. The Allen wrench provided works easily to adjust depth. The storage case is functional and transparent making it easily spotted.
Most folks countersink to improve the look of projects and these bits definitely enhance your work. The hole is symmetrical, smooth and fits well with various size screws. The added magnetic extension is a nice touch.
Strong recommendation to purchase.
This kit comes with a variety of sizes in one countersink drill bit set. The drill bits are good quality and well-made. The package came in a plastic container to store everything together in one place. The drill bits have 1/4" hex shank so it worked perfectly with my cordless tools. The bits are sharp and useful. I highly recommend this product.
This set was referred by my carpenter friend. It is pretty cool for my woodworking DIY. It has 12 pieces with 5 sizes, so I can use it for many screws. The adjustable depth is great, help me make perfect holes every time, and the magnetic extension holder keep bits steady—no slipping! It come with nice storage box to keep all organize.
These countersink bits work great. It might be the lazy way of doing it, but I like using these 1/4 inch quick connect bits. It's just so much easier than having to break out the proper drill. The bits in this kit all drill straight, so there's no big advantage to bothering with a chuck. The countersinks are ok, but they lack some of the refinement that's available by using an independent countersinking bit. Looking at these bits more closely, there's a visible burr on many of the countersinks, which might account for the slight bit of sloppiness. (The attached pic shows a couple of holes into soft dimensional pine.) Nevertheless, from an ease of use and cost perspective, these bits are hard to beat.
I'm not typically a high rater. To get 5-stars, the product has to do something to knock my socks off. 4-stars means GOOD product. The countersink drill bits are essentially as described on the site. The bits include #4-5/64", #6-3/32", #8-7/64", #10-1/8", and #12-9/64" and all were measured correctly with a caliper. They are a two-fluted design in a single unit. While they work, I do prefer a 3-flute countersink; they produce a better cut counter sink. The bits are adjustable with a single set-screw. The product does include the set screw Allen wrench and an extra set of drill bits. For the price, they seem like a good value for the money. Overall, nothing spectacular but a GOOD product so far.
I have used these a ton already, and they are still good to go. They are sharp and durable, and are a great value for the money. I like that they include extra bits.
These EZARC countersink bits have been a great addition to my woodworking kit. They work well and are very easy to use.
The different sizes (#4, #6, #8, #10, #12) cover just about every common screw I use, and adjusting the depth is straightforward. They drill a clean pilot hole and countersink in one shot, which saves time and gives a professional, flush finish on screws. The magnetic extension bit holder is a nice bonus for reaching into tighter spots, and the included storage box keeps everything organized and easy to find.
If you want cleaner-looking screw joints in your wood projects with minimal fuss, this set does the job really well.
