These are fantastic countersink drill bits. They are self-centering and work great for pilot holes or for making sure your fasteners sit even and flush with the wood on finished projects. The bit is incredibly sharp and cuts in fast and accurate, without any wobble or deflection. They seem very durable and I haven't had any issues with them breaking or chipping after using them several times. Overall, because of how well they work, the fact that they come with an awesome carrying case and perform better than many other most expensive brand I would say that they provide excellent value for money. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice countersink bit set.

This countersink drill bit set has turned out to be a very useful addition to my toolbox. I picked it up mainly for woodworking projects and it includes just about everything needed to drill pilot holes countersink screws and finish the job cleanly. The standout feature for me is the self centering drill bits. They work exactly as intended and make hinge and hardware installation much easier. The spring loaded design keeps the bit perfectly centered so there is no wandering when starting the hole. This alone makes the set worthwhile if you do cabinets doors or furniture. The countersink bits cut smoothly and produce a clean professional looking chamfer. I like that the drill bit and countersink are combined which saves time since there is no need to swap bits mid task. The depth stop rings are helpful for keeping things consistent as long as you tighten them down securely with the included hex keys. Build quality feels solid. The bits are made from high speed steel and have held up well so far in hardwood and softwood. The plug cutters are a nice bonus and let me make my own wood plugs to hide screw heads which is great for furniture work. The included magnetic bit holder and screwdriver bits round out the set nicely. Everything comes organized in a compact red case that keeps the pieces easy to find and store. There are also spare drill bits included which I appreciate. While there are no printed instructions the setup is intuitive if you have used drill bits before. Overall this is a well thought out all in one set for countersinking and precision drilling. It saves time improves accuracy and helps produce cleaner results. I've purchased Rockler sets for much more than this set, but this caters more to the home DIY tasks like deck and fence building or anything that doesn't require ultra precise and fine woodworking tasks. The HSS bits are very sharp and work great for green and rough lumber, but on hardwoods and aged dense dried wood, the bits slow down a bit and start smoking, you need to clear chips and swarf quickly. Plug cutters work decently, but it's more stable if you have a drill press and will get less edge tearing. I've purchased two different sets, and lots of EZ Arc saw blades and consumables without disappointment. These did not disappoint either, easy 5 star rating with what this set can do and the spares that are included.

These tools are nicely organized in a very compact case. There is a wide variety of tools in here to cover much of the needs I have for drilling holes, counter sinking, making finishing plugs, and more. The drills are of adequate quality and do a fine job drilling wood. The countersink works easily as the drill bit makes the hole and it just falls into place as you drill. It is handy to be on the bit, so I don't have to swap out a different bit to finish. The self-centering bits are really cool as they are spring loaded and drop the bit exactly centered in the space you are drilling. They work well and make a much more professional job. The plug drillers are awesome and allow me to create my own finishing plugs. The set includes a magnetic bit holder for my screw gun and depth gauges that allow precise stop at a certain depth. The set also includes the most common bits needed for fasteners and also the allen wrenches to make adjustments on the tools. The set is a good value for a pretty complete set of tools needed for countersink and finishing the job. I saw one review stating that they used the tools for stripped fastener removal. I cannot see how they misappropriated these tools to perform that task and I would not purchase it expecting any results removing stripped fasteners. The included bits will remove good fasteners if you match up the correct type.

The EZARC 22pcs countersink drill bit set is a nice, full set of bits. Not only are you getting various sizes of countersink drill bits, there are also self-centering bits, plug cutters, and a few driver bits…all in a handy, plastic case. So many different uses for this set! I was also impressed to see that each bit is laser etched with the appropriate size for quick/easy identification. All bits have a 1/4'' hex shank, so they can easily be installed into standard drills or impact drivers. First impressions of the functionality was good. The bits I tried cut well and easily created smooth countersunk holes. Overall, a solid value, as a name-brand set of this size would like cost more.

Self centering bits are Garbage. Used the largest center point bit and the spring failed after first use. Now the bit is beyond the stem and no way to set it deeper. I'm 10 days past return window so I'm stuck. The other drill bits and countersink seem to work good. Just make sure the set screw is tightened. They are not tightened out of the box. UPDATE: I'm changing this review to give it 5 stars mainly because of the good Customer Service I recevied from the seller. They reached out and asked some questions and to send pics. I sent them the necessary information. All I wanted was the self centering bit that failed to be replaced. I just received a whole new set! Very impressive Customer Service. Thank you!

Almost 25 years as a home improvement contractor and I had never owned nor even used a self-centering drill bit. I didn't know such a thing existed. I'm glad I got these. The self-centering bits are really cool. They certainly aren't necessary, but they will absolutely come in handy for cabinet work or any other application where the bit ''walking'' even a little bit could cause problems. It works very well! When I first came across EZARC, I was a bit skeptical, but I have owned several of their products in recent years and I have been very pleased with their quality, durability and pricing. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. The kit is a nice little set which includes self-countersinking drill bits (nice!), a couple of wood plug cutters, extra drill bits to replace ones that will eventually break and a few 1/4'' driver bits. The driver bits are nothing special but it's always good to have extras on hand and I think of them here as being a little bonus. The set would be worth the cost without them. The drill bits and plug cutters are very sharp and I expect them to stay that way through quite a bit of use.

Easy to use and well packaged. First project was pine soft wood. Left burs around the countersink of the work, which might have been anticipated. I bought them for a hard wood project and tried it out on a scrap bit of English Ash, tidy plug hole and clean countersink all in one go. Cutting the peg... not so easy with a hand held power drill! Would probably work well with a fixed drill. Unfortunately I can't afford one of them for a dozen curtain mounting boards! There are no instructions... so use your common sense! Good value for money however!

This kit is a good value considering it includes both self-centering and countersink drill bits. It also includes plug cutters for hidden screws, screwdriver bits, extra drill bits, and hex keys, so it really is a complete set. All of the components are held in a compact plastic case that makes it easy to put in a tool bag/box. The 1/8'' self-centering bit was the perfect size for a door lock/deadbolt project. I noticed that some reviews have indicated concerns with some bits breaking. I did not have any issues with the 1/8'' bit, but have not tried any of the others. The manufacturer has a 24-month warranty and when I had a problem with one their oscillating tool blades, their customer support was good about sending a replacement (note that I did contact them within a week after purchase). I can’t speak to how they might handle a warranty claim with this product, and can only speak to my experience with the blade issue.

It's a good, all in one set. They give you a few screwdriver bits,, but don't really think those are necessary because they aren't really relevant to drilling holes, but I'll never complain about more bits. There's a little bit of everything here. There's countersink bits which are tapered, insuring the screw grips more surface when being driven than if it were a typical cylindrical drill bit. The wood plug cutters work, but I think you need a slower speed, because they can start to scorch the wood if you go too fast. The self-centering bits are useful, especially if you're drilling a series of holes to mount something, because consistently finding the center of the hole can be difficult. It's nice that they included a spare drill bit for each of those. And then there's the stop collars. I prefer the dual screw versions, but these work just fine. All of this is in a nice, sturdy plastic case. It's a good set, and they give you a little of everything, with the countersink drill bits being the most complete in terms of sizes included.

The countersink is a great plus to ensure screws are set below the surface for certain work like furniture. I recall the days before tools like this, yes I'm an older gent, when you used separate bits to accomplish the results that these provide. They now have these as cost effective options for all handy people. These are fine. I have Rockwell hardness files to test cutting tools of questionable hardness but these are not. They're north of 60-62 Rockwell, the bit shank and holder with the set screws no where near that but with a tough industrial hardness in keeping with the needed function. Nice set of plug cutters are included with self centering drills and the usual handy bit extensions, #2 phillips bits and a random Torx thrown in for good measure. Spear drill bits, allen wrenches and stop collars round out this set. All in a great case I predict will get scratched on the clear cover due to much use. This is one of those sets I predict I'll keep close at hand. Great price for quality items.
