I didn't have a drill press to do my job, but consulted the welding shop I do business with. The fellow boring the 52 mm hole saw purchased from Ezark was impressed. I instructed him to use cutting fluid with the the bit but he was in a hurry and forgot. The result was a clean hole just the bit size. I was impressed and pleased as it cut as advertised. Nice job Ezark!

Good quality. Cuts stainless steel. It's hardened steel and more brittle than most, so it needs care to use. Comes with extra pilot bits (probably need them). I would buy it again.

Can cut through nails and looks good as new. I have used these blades much longer than expected!

I use my multi tool almost everyday and the blades hold up very well. They last longer than Diablo and Milwaukee, which saves me money and carbide blades are expensive.

I've used them several times, and they are holding up very well.

Used about 8 times with 1-1/8 size. Still like new. I have used Ideal saws and these seem to hold up

Don't know anything about longevity. But at a nice very slow speed with a dab of cutting oil large 16 large holes took 20 minutes. Like butter. Voila!

I used them a couple times and the carbines came off. Don't buy they are junk

Its sharp, cuts very well and fast. Too bad the top isnt removable. Everytime i cut into plastic it gets stuck and have to dig it out with needle nose pliers.

Great stainless hole saw for the money

I have used these as well as other brands over the last several years. The metal I am putting the holes for conduit in are many times thicker and tougher then standard electrical boxes. for the money, I��ll buy these again.

Blades seems very durable, after cutting a couple of hard steel bolts.

Been using this set for a few months now. Comparable to Greenlee, Lenox, or Klein. Cuts super clean holes. Pilot bits get dull pretty fast but I started drilling my own pilot holes.

These are absolutely fantastic for metal and boat work.Bought other sizes to compliment the Kit.

Used constantly for 6 months, they're about done now but definitely paid for itself

These hole cutters are quite durable. They cut rapidly and smoothly. And, the cost is much less than the big name cutters.

Its cuts through 10ga steel panels with no problem. Good price as well.

Just as good as the name brand like ideal. I am electrician an i am drilling holes in panel cans constantly. These work great an the case is great everyone i work with is ordering a set after using mine. Great product

Great hole saw for installing 30 mm pushbuttons. Lasts a long time and cuts a perfect hole. A lot faster than using a knockout.

It cut a very neat hole in a stainless tank. Once you get the rpm correct and let the hole saw do it’s job.

Have used couple times so far. Seems to be good value for the money

I have a set of Bosch hole saws that are rated for use with an impact drill that hold up better than these. The welds on the 1/2�� hole saw failed after the 6th use. Once one blade failed the others sheered off in quick succession

Better then Klein carbide cutters

I bought these based on reviews on Amazon. I typically buy higher priced Diablo or Milwaukee blades, but wanted to give these a try. One blade cut through nails & concrete screws easily using a 12V Fuel Milwaukee Multi Tool. Best performance hands down over the more expensive blades. Definitely sold!!!

I absolutely love these things I��m a commercial electrician and I use them about 3-4 times a week and I haven��t had to replace them yet almost been a year. There exactly the same as the ideal and klein carbide cutters cut awesome mine have surface rust on them from not having them in the case. But if you run them in even and on low there will last forever

These are some tough holesaws !

I love these. I have tried most of the major brands and these have beaten the pants off of all of them. Milwaukee blades have worn away so quickly and I was wondering if there were any brands that didn't wear down after 1 or 2 uses. These have been amazing for their longevity and durability. Metal that would eat the teeth off of even the metal cutting Milwaukee's, these just go right through and keep going. I'll admit I was skeptical at first and didn't have high hopes when I bought the first ones. I have bought quite a few sets since I use them a lot. Good tool, good value, highly recommended

These did ok. I was probably using them not quite as intended but was trying everything I could as a shade tree mechanic. They started off strong but even with letting the tool do the work, after about 5 minutes they dulled. I was trying to cut through a sway bar link.

More cheaply made than the Klein brand. There is only like $15 difference. Spend a little more money for a superior product.

Just got them and have barely used them but so far so good. Can't comment on longevity etc but seem to be really great so far. Honestly any review needs to be done after you have used the product extensively. The price seems a little steep but then again I watched a video by project farm on youtube where he tested a bunch of oscillating blades and these came out on top so if he vouched for them then that's all I need.

I looked online for a specific brand of carbide hole saw then azarc pop up, the packaging is what sold me. I deal with metal stud all the time, and this kit is everything so far. I haven't use those bits to their potential as yet.

Use them daily and they are well worth it.

I got these because most multitool blades are overpriced and don't last long anyway (and I watch Project Farm). I use these for window and door installation among other things. These aren't very sharp out of the box. Not BAD, but not as sharp as others. However these hold their edge longer than others I've used, including Makita, Diablo and Bosch. But again not as sharp out of the box.

Nice!After recently spending 3 hours to drill a hole in a stainless steel brew kettle using a stepped drill bit advertised as being suitable for stainless I had decided not to attempt such a task again until I saw other reviews for this product and thought I'd give it a go as I still needed more fittings on the same kettle.I was hoping the 3 hours might reduce to 30 minutes or so but once it hit the large outer diameter ring I was prepared for the hard work but it actually cut faster, popping through and ejecting the 21mm disc from a neat hole in literally seconds.A truly astonishing experienceThe pilot drill in the centre is not bad but still cuts very slowly so I have now ordered a set of carbide tipped drill bits.Overall extremely happy with the product

I bought this to drill holes in stainless steel. I had a few people tell me to buy tools that were far more expensive and outsourcing the task had already cost me more material. I would recommend 100%.

Oh, WHY didn't I find these long before now!I install cooling systems, and I work on many sites where I need to cut holes in metal - sometimes thick and sodding hard metal. Shipping Containers are a prime example.I've spent many 100s of pounds in 10 years on those standard hole cutters - the Bosch ones being the best I could find, but would still only last a couple of cuts then start giving up, and often new cutters would dull before completing the cut. On many occasions, I was having to reach for a drill to drill many small holes for the hole cutter to take, an angle grinder to finish the job or to cut a rough squarish holeAnd then I happened across this "Tungsten Carbide Teeth Hole Saw" - never seen one in action or on-site so was sceptical it would be effective. I was also wary that it looked like something that was best suited on a bench drill, whereas I will be using on a cordless drill on-site. It is not cheap, but I was desperate so took a puntAnd then I used it... WOW! A quick, clean hole - like a very sharp knife through melted butter! What have I been missing for all these years! I'm not talking silly thin metal - this is the same for thick stainless steel - and it has yet to blunt the jaws. It's not even worth trying to compare to the other standard hole saws - this is in a league of its own.It was one of those times of enlightenment - the first time I used this I was full of bad memories of years gone past with a spinning hole cutter doing nothing other than making a nice circle and no hole... many broken bits where you try and twist the cutter to "take"... thousands of small holes and cutting between using a chisel. I almost cried, folks...Now been used on many occasions far outlasting any other hole saw I ever had the displeasure of using, so despite the high cost this is both a money saver and a time saver.The only niggle is that the hole cutters have a depth stop which can be a pain when I'm drilling in panels with a cavity. I suspect this is because it is (as noted) purposed for a bench drill and not for the purpose I am using it for. No worries as I can alternate between a slightly larger hole cutter then a smaller hole to reach the second stageA word of warning - this produces swarf and a lot of it. Wear glove and a protecting face mask or you will regret it! I would also recommend a cutting spray, as that also helps it slide through the metal, although I have found it not to be essential, but like to look after the bitIf anyone regularly cuts through metal, then I would strongly suggest you dip in your pockets and buy this cutter

Longevity and value!

Cut a clean hole through a stainless steel sink with no problems.I needed to add a hole to my stainless steel sink in order to run a garbage disposal on/off button. I was looking at step bits but it was impossible to find one that was affordable. I saw another review on here mentioning success with cutting a stainless steel sink, so gave it a try. I made a "pool" with plumbers putty (something the other review mentioned) and put a bunch of gear oil in the area to lubricate. Set the drill to high torque & low RPMs, went slow, and with a lot a of pressure was able to cut a VERY clean hole in just about a minute or two. Worked beautifully and was exactly what I needed. The bit looks like it didn't suffer any damage at all, so it held up. Might be awhile before I need to put a clean hole through another piece of metal but it was worth the money for this one job alone.

Cuts they stainless with ease!

Purchased this hole saw with pretty low expectations to be honest. After getting my hands on it boy was I wrong!This hole saw is by far the heaviest I have and sturdiest out of my collection of various hole saws from different brands and sizes from 1" to 3". Not only does it feel skookum it cuts beautifully! In the picture you see of my bumper, I had 2 other saws that were just warping and cutting all over the place. This product made quick work of what those others saws struggled to do.I would estimate the bumper I cut is between 1 to 2mm thick and some level of steel harder than stainless. This hole saw by far exceeded my expectations and didn't look any worse for wear by the end of the cut! I did use a little oil to help however, which is never a bad idea when working with tungsten.I will definitely attempt to buy this brand in whatever other sizes I need in the future. 5/5 recommend.

Worked even better than I thought! I bought this to cut holes in 1/32" stainless steel for a project, where they had to be perfect, with no burring or distortion around the hole. I was amazed how well this worked. This was the 7/8" version of the bit.

After going through several metal cutting hole saws, this one is the best. The cutting teeth were designed well and I was able to drill through 3/16" steel with a 20V drill with relative ease.I have broken many pilot bits on hole saws trying to get through difficult material, so I used a standalone carbide bit to make a pilot hole first. I don't have many spare hole saw pilot bits lying around so I used a sacrificial bit instead.Even then, this hole saw's pilot bit bored a larger hole like butter and the final hole was finished in less than a minuteI'll buy this brand again if I need a different size due to my overwhelmingly positive experience.

Glad I purchased this hole saw. I needed to cut a 1.25-inch diameter hole in a 1/4-inch-thick piece of hard aluminum. I initially looked at other cheaper hole saws for metal, but the reviews on those were hit or miss. I figured I'd be better off with spending the extra $15 or $20 for one that was guaranteed to perform the task at hand. I'm glad I made that decision.This saw came in a nice plastic case, accompanied by an allen wrench used to adjust the depth of the pilot bit. It was well-oiled and very very sharp.It worked like a charm and allowed me to complete the cutting in about 5 to 10 minutes with breaks in between to clear the metal shavings out of the way. When I got down to the last few millimeters of my cut, I did have to remove the pilot bit because its spring had "bottomed out," meaning it was fully compressed preventing the saw from reaching further down into the cut. However, the removal was quite easy, and I was able to quickly complete the cut afterwards. The blades still remain very sharp with no signs of marring.I highly recommend this hole saw. After some reading, I bought this hole cutter for a single, specific application - cutting a perfect 37mm hole in the firewall of my car with very little access. I have other high-quality hole saws, but there really was no margin for error here and I wanted something sharp, accurate, and compact. After a quick test hole in a piece of aluminum, I took to the steel body. In both cases, this saw cut right through, absolutely perfectly. Probably the most difficult aspect was keeping my electric drill at a proper speed ... Managing to do that I got superb results. Given the price vs. performance, I wish I'd tried this brand/style before stocking up on far more expensive tools. For a low-volume/hobbyist application, I can't see doing any better than this.

I was having a water filter installed in the kitchen, but, Cal, my regular plumber didn��t have a tool to make a hole for the new faucet in the stainless sink. Rather than buy a new sink, I decided to take on the risky task of drilling the hole myself. I bought the EZARC Carbide Hole Cutter, expecting to make a mess, probably botching the job, and winding up buying a new sink after all. But I was pleasantly surprised. I worked slowly and kept the bit well oiled and the tool cut cleanly and easily through the hard stainless steel, leaving a nice crisp hole, with no extraneous scratches. The pilot bit quickly penetrated the material and the hole cutter sliced through smoothly without wobbling or grabbing. It��s not an inexpensive tool, but well worth the money. When Cal came to install the filter system, I gave him the hole cutter as a bonus. Maybe he��ll give me a discount the next time I call him.

We needed a hole for a hot water dispenser spigot in a new stainless kitchen sink basin. I bought this hole cutter based on other recommendations I saw, and I'm glad I spent a few extra bucks for it, because it worked perfectly.Here's all the different bits of advice we found helpful from our own personal experience with metal cutting, along with elements I culled from other reviews.* Use machine oil. We applied enough Forney 20857 Tap Magic Industrial Pro Cutting Fluid to keep a small puddle/light coating on the entire work surface and edges of the bit and hole saw while drilling.*Wear goggles and gloves - metal shavings are not something you want to mess around with. You'll also want a decent supply of paper towels or disposable rags to help you clean up as you go.*Set a rag beneath your hole-boring point to catch metal shavings and extra oil. This was a very clever tip that helped with cleanup.*To get the hole started, we used a Phillips screwdriver to bang a minor divot in the centerpoint of our projected hole; this kept the bit from wandering.*Keep the speed slow. We used a 20V Dewalt cordless drill with the gearing set to 1 (lowest speed, highest torque). We drilled at about 3/4 speed to get the center bit through the metal, then kept the speed below half a trigger pull once the hole saw was in contact with the metal. We didn't apply a lot of force to the bit, and stopped every so often to wipe away extra shavings. We then re-applied oil to keep it all moving smoothly. One of the reviews we read said to make sure the metal didn't heat up, as it would stiffen the metal and make it harder to drill through. Another said to make sure there wasn't any smoking, as it meant there was too much friction. We didn't encounter either problem with the steps we took as listed above. It took about a minute-plus to punch in the center hole, and another seven minutes or so to cut the hole.The final product was a perfectly smooth hole. The teeth of the hole saw are still perfectly sharp.

After breaking a pilot bit on a bi-metal hole saw, I came across this hole saw for cutting through a stainless steel electrical enclosure (NEMA 3 / 4 / 12). I used with a Dewalt 20V cordless drill set to 1 (lower torque) and held the trigger about halfway down to try to get to 200 rpm (full speed on 1 = 600 rpm). I used Oatey dark thread cutting oil.I was highly impressed by how easily the tungsten carbide teeth kept moving in the metal at such a low speed. I'll be buying a few more of these hole saws for other sizes I need.

Cut four pieces of .25" mild steel plate with this. Maximum cutting depth is around .17�� so I had to cut, flip the work over and cut from the other side, but it came out well. Ignore the reviews that talk about the teeth coming out and remember there's a guide in the box containing information pertaining to max rpm for a given material. Also- don't forget the oil! Using this tool without lubrication will ruin it!

I bought this to drill a hole in my stainless steel sink for a soap dispenser. I used a punch to make a small dent in my sink so the drill bit wouldn't walk. I built a ring with plumbers putty just larger than the bit. put the ring around the dent I made, filled the ring with some tool oil. This allowed me to drill in an oil bath, keeping the drill bit well lubricated and cool. Any automotive oil should work as well. I put my cordless drill on the low gear setting so I would spin slowly (very important) after about 30 seconds to a minute, I had the cleanest, smoothest, most perfect hole I could imagine. I also had a mess under my sink where all the oil and shavings fell below so you might want to put an old rag under the sink to catch the mess. Be patient, It does take a little while. Don't give into the temptation to drill faster.If you see any sign of smoke while using this, stop, add more oil and slow down your drill. If you heat up the stainless steel, it will turn very hard and you will have a very difficult time drilling thought it. Now I can admire this tools beauty and craftsmanship as it sits in my tool chest for the next 20 years until I decide to clean out my garage.
