Sure it cuts, but it's twice as thick as a standard cutoff wheel, so it's slow. When overlaying sheet metal and cutting through 2 layers to weld up a panel, the gap created causes a problem. It's alot for a welder to bridge.So far I've cut a considerable amount of sheet metal while restoring a square body. This thing leaves large burrs in the cut that need to be cleaned up. The fiber discs don't leave a burr anywhere near as bad. Because they're thinner, they cut twice as fast too.One advantage though is it doesn't throw much for sparks. Maybe 20% of what a fiber disc will do.

I read the reviews prior to buying this so I did have some expectation of good performance. However, I was still impressed that it lived up the hype as I cut through solid bar iron. It does heat up fairly quickly but I used a wet cloth to cool it repeatedly after each cut. Very handy and worth the cost.Compared to those cheap cut off wheels that are used and thrown out, this is way better.

I'm using it on my Ryobi cut off tool and it is a lot better than having to change the abrasive cut off wheel which will wear down on you at after awhile. I have been cutting up a worn out chain link fence and it cuts through like butter saving me alot of time and work, I have same wheel on another tool which I used to cut an aluminum door sweep and it went through in a few seconds better than any hack saw.

I have it on a angle die grinder (you can buy an arbor to attach it) at work.. it's outstanding for cutting stuff in tight spaces. However I recommend using thread lock on the screw holding it in. It came off once luckily it didn't kill me. So how everyone at work calls it the death wheel. ??

Comparing this to a regular friction cutting wheel. It cuts fast. But it does not make a clean cut. It creates a lot of burr. It also makes a thicker cut than the regular cutoff wheel. But there is the peace of mind that it will not break on you mid cutting.Using it on the little Milwaukee M12 Cut Off Tool. 4 stars because of the large burr and the thick cut.

Hemos adquirido este disco, que no olvidemos que es de 76mm, es decir para ser usado por miniamoladoras a bater��a de las mas peque?as o bien algunas neum��ticas. Nosotros la hemos usado en una bosch GWS 12V-76 , y cuando la hemos puesto en su sitio..... vaya!!! resulta que no encaja!!! por lo que se ve el agujero de encastre del disco es mas peque?o que el soporte.... Al final nos ha tocado usar una lima para poder adaptarlo, repensando con cuidado la circunferencia.Tras esto lo hemos probado y ya perfecto,va muy bien cortando sin problemas en nuestro caso mas que nada tubo de cobre el cual se lo bebe, eso si como la mayor��a de los discos de corte de diamante deja muchas mas rebabas, que luego hay que repasar con la lima, pero tiene a su favor que salpica menos "picaduras" y que siempre vamos a tener 76mm de disco ya que no se va desgastando como los de fibra.Si no fuera por ese problema del orificio central bien se merece las 5 estrellas, pero hay que ponerle 3 para que se pongan las pilas y tomen nota de ese error de medida y hagan por fabricarlo mejor.

Bought this to install on my Milwaukee 12v cutting tool. Fit shank perfectly. Cut a couple of 3/8 bolt with it. Didn't see hardly and wear on diamond cutting surface. Looking forward to using this for a ton of hard to reach areas and small metal cutting needs. Will be buying a few more to install on other tools.

Cuts a little wide, as folks have noted, but a good cutting wheel. I��ve used it on electrical boxes, sheet metal, bolts, no issues. Just remember it��s thicker than a fiber/carbon version and adjust cut accordingly. I give it a 4 because of the relative lack of precision, but it is a great value at price vs function. I��ll be buying again when the time requires.

I am using this blade with the Milwaukee 12V cut off tool. It works very well with thin metals, vinyl siding, and auto body panels. I have had it on for about two months now. It does not seem to have dulled at all. I am very pleased with this purchase and will buy this product again.
